HEARTLAND AUTO & ATV is a family owned and operated business. Owners, Kirk and Leah Ford, are committed to treating each and every customer with respect and appreciation. Over 90% of Heartland's automobiles are new car trade-ins from local dealerships. This allows us to "keep a finger" on quality and acquire as much history on each vehicle as possible. Our rental department offers clean, dependable rental cars at economical rates. Our friendly hometown service and terms are a refreshing change from a large "tourist base" rental agency.

The Arctic Cat ATV franchise has been a wonderful addition to our dealership. Sales have surpassed our expectations and customer feedback has been fantastic! Kirk Ford, Owner-Operator
Kirk has been involved with new franchise sales a large majority of his life. His grandfather opened the GMC truck dealership in Rector, Arkansas in 1954. Years later Kirk's father purchased the dealership. Kirk has learned the value of customer satisfaction and hometown service first-hand by working his way up in the company. In 1998, Kirk accomplished a long-time goal of owning his own business, with the opening of his pre-owned auto dealership. After relocating the business to Kennett, Missouri in 2000, he established a strong customer base and expanded the dealership to include auto rental. Since his long-time goal had been achieved he also decided to add Arctic Cat ATVs. Kirk is very involved in all aspects of the dealership. You can find him on the sales floor, or more often, in the service department gaining experience with ATVs.

Leah Ford, Co-owner
Not only is Leah a partner in the business, she is also Kirk's partner in life. They have been married since 1991 and have two children. She is very involved with the dealership. Her responsibilities include book keeping, title work, registration, fund distribution, and customer service. Leah also has extensive experience with new franchise sales and service.

Michael Lindsey, Manager - Sales
Michael has been with Heartland since 2001 when he implemented "Easy Auto Rental". He is also involved in all aspects of the business. His primary responsibilities include auto rental, fleet management, advertising, ATV parts and accessory orders, and auto and ATV sales.
